Luís Represas died this Wednesday. The artist’s death was confirmed by the agency Sons em Trânsito in a statement quoted by RTP. (source in Portuguese)
The singer is thought to have died after a long illness. According to the statement, the Portuguese artist, who was marking 50 years of his career this year, had planned “unforgettable moments with Trovante and, in his solo work, with hits that span generations”.
A photograph, in what amounted to a farewell, was posted on the singer’s Instagram page just moments ago.
