Boutique business class-only airline beOnd has announced that it will be launching new routes connecting London and Paris to the Maldives, starting in December 2026.

Three weekly services are currently planned for each route, from London Heathrow Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Malé International Airport. These flights will be overnight ones in both directions and will use Airbus A321 aircraft.

However, they will not be non-stop and will include one refuelling and technical stop at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.

The new London and Paris routes are in addition to beOnd’s current European routes linking the Maldives to Munich, Zurich and Milan.

The airline will increase its flights on some of these European routes as well. While flights to Munich will expand from two services a week to four, flights to Zurich will go from two to five a week. These changes will be implemented from mid-December 2026 onwards.

Luxury business class flying

beOnd claims to be the “first pure luxury airline”, operating only two aircrafts at the moment, an Airbus A321 and an Airbus A319.

The airline’s facilities include lie-flat business class seats for the whole plane, premium service and a curated onboard dining menu, prepared by world-class chefs and inspired by the different destinations’ flavours.

Flights are also kept relatively small to preserve exclusivity, with a capacity of up to 68 passengers on the A321 aircraft. Planes also feature seat shells designed by Ferrari, along with fine Italian leather fittings.

Passengers can also enjoy Beats headphones and VR Apple headsets, along with Apple iPad Pro tablets instead of the traditional embedded screens for in-flight entertainment.

Flight tickets include a private chauffeur pick-up service as well.

beOnd is backed by Arabesque, an investment firm and a Maldivian FMCG group, the SIMDI group. It is currently headquartered in Dubai, with a base in the Maldives.

The only other all-business class airline in the world currently is French airline La Compagnie, which offers services to and from North America.
