Britain’s King Charles III concluded his four-day state visit to the United States on Thursday, departing from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after a series of public appearances and official engagements.

During the final day of the visit, Charles paid tribute at Arlington National Cemetery and attended a “block party” celebration in Front Royal, Virginia, marking 250 years since American independence.

Crowds gathered to greet the King and Queen Camilla during the parade and festivities.

The visit ended with a formal farewell alongside US President Donald Trump before Charles boarded a flight to Bermuda, his first visit as monarch to the British overseas territory.
