When it comes to visiting Turkey, Cappadocia is high on many people’s bucket lists.

How could it not be when the UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape, known for its fairy chimneys and underground towns, is best viewed on a sunrise hot air balloon ride?

For the complete experience, visitors to Cappadocia need to stay in a cave hotel – and now there’s a stunning new option for you to book.

Located next to Ortahisar Castle, one of the region’s most iconic landmarks, Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton is the brand’s first-ever cave hotel.

“Our objective was to preserve the region’s heritage while offering contemporary comfort and one-of-a-kind moments formed by local identity and a global perspective,” Nilüfer Durukan, general manager at Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton, said.

“Here, history is not only seen but experienced, becoming part of each guest’s journey.”

What to expect at Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia

Each of the rooms at the 36-key property has its own individual design, shaped by the original cave structure.

Guests can choose between rooms with private pools, whirlpool baths, terraces and hot tubs, while the Elika Villa comes with a Turkish bath and sauna.

The hotel boasts a gorgeous spa, with two treatment rooms, a hammam, steam room, sauna and rain shower as well as an outdoor pool.

On the food front, guests can try a mix of Cappadocian and Anatolian cuisine at Colastre.
