On today’s show

Europe Today’s anchor Mared Gwyn speaks to Member of the European Parliament and chair of its trade committee Bernd Lange (S&D) about Trump’s new tariffs and the EU’s fine against Google over breaches of the bloc’s Digital Markets Act.

Jorge Liboreiro reports on the latest EU sanctions package against Russia after EU ambassadors reached a deal granting Greece, which had been vetoing the package, an exemption allowing it to continue shipping Russian LNG to non-EU clients.

We stay with the same topic as Mared Gwyn interviews Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Ukraine’s Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy.

Angela Skujins interviews MEP Javi López, who was part of a recent European Parliament delegation to China in a bid to thaw years of frozen relations between the Parliament and Beijing.

Euronews’ Europe Editor Maria Tadeo joins anchor Mared Gwyn for a special farewell to viewers as the show pauses for its summer break until September.
