Paris Saint-Germain supporters erupted in celebration as their team defeated Arsenal in a penalty shootout to win the Champions League for a second consecutive season.

Video from Parc des Princes in Paris showed fans packed into the stadium cheering, screaming and embracing as the decisive penalties were scored and missed.

The final in Budapest ended 1-1 after extra time before PSG prevailed in the shootout. Arsenal, appearing in their first Champions League final in two decades, missed two penalties, while PSG missed one.

The victory makes PSG the first club since Real Madrid’s 2016-18 run to successfully defend the Champions League title. Fans in the French capital celebrated wildly as the final whistle confirmed another European crown for Luis Enrique’s side.
