Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and Fox News host who was once married to California Governor Gavin Newsom and was later engaged to Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., made the statement while speaking to journalists from Greece’s national public broadcaster (ERT) during a visit to its headquarters.

In a recent interview with Breitbart — the self-proclaimed “platform of the alt right” —Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Trump should expect a very warm reception in Greece should he visit.

“He’s going to have a good time,” he said. “Greeks very much take pride in our hospitality.”

President Donald Trump praised Greece as a “terrific” ally and Mitsotakis as a “terrific guy,” following the interview.

Guilfoyle said she would suggest that Trump give a major speech in the country, particularly ahead of the 250th anniversary of American independence.

“Well, of course, we would all love that, wouldn’t we? Have [Trump] give a speech at the Acropolis. I hope he will come, I’ll ask him to come. He’s so hardworking, he works nonstop,” she said.

Rumors are rife in Athens that Trump could visit ahead of a NATO summit in Turkey on July 7-8.
