Olla Home Solution is a Tuscan construction company and one of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses in 2025. Its turnover increased by more than 400% between 2020 and 2023. Founded in the midst of the pandemic, the company specialises in green building and energy efficiency.

“We wanted to provide an additional service to a growing market that was also full of gaps – explains its founder and President Samuel Olla – “because there weren’t any players offering a truly all-round, 360-degree service.”

The company also offering to handle the administrative procedures, was a winning move. It bet on the Superbonus, the tax incentive introduced by the Italian government to revive the post-Covid economy. A powerful engine for the construction sector, but also a controversial and costly one for the state.

“It was an extremely difficult market – adds Samuel Olla – in just three years it saw around 90 regulatory changes.”

A green home is not only built with natural materials, it also has low energy consumption, maximum thermal efficiency, and runs on renewable energy. From 2030, all new buildings will have to be Near Zero Energy Buildings, or NZEBs. The deadline is tight and the path is long, but the transition is underway and good practices can already be replicated on a large scale.
