Luxury vacations, pricey skincare products, and cannabis goods… The Oscar nominees won’t go home empty handed on Sunday. However, this year’s “Everyone Wins” gift bag comes with the option to do some good…
Whether you win or lose at the Oscars, no one goes home empty-handed.
Every year, the Oscars give away a goodie bag to the acting and directing nominees with some of the most jaw-droppingly lavish gifts. As if A-listers needed more stuff… But Hollywood’s gonna Hollywood, and this year’s gift bag is reportedly worth a whopping six figures.
Once again, L.A.-based entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets is producing the “Everyone Wins” nominee gift bags, this year handed out to the likes of Demi Moore, Timothée Chalamet, Zoe Saldaña, Adrien Brody, Cynthia Erivo, Kieran Culkin, Sebastian Stan, and more.
Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary explained in a press release that while the gifts are “fun and fabulous”, “they also serve as a means to elevate small businesses, minority-owned brands, female entrepreneurs, and companies that give back.”
He went on to say that this year, “on the heels of the historically tragic L.A. fires, we have found even more ways that our celebrity swag can do good in our community.”
This means that alongside a panoply of expensive beauty products and five-star resort stays comes a membership to Bright Harbor, offering $1 million worth of personalized disaster recovery support to families affected by the wildfires. In addition, each nominee will receive a “complimentary home renovation project management” from Maison Construction.
It’s also worth noting that each gift can be redirected to a fire victim.
“Whether they pamper themselves or share these bountiful gifts as a care package for a friend who may have recently lost their home, we give these gifts not based on the recipients’ need but out of a desire to brighten someone’s day and to acknowledge a job well done,” Lash added.
