Heavy rain and fierce winds tore through Turkey’s southern Antalya province overnight, leaving behind widespread damage.

The storm hit hardest in Aksu, where a tornado formed over the Aksu Stream, lifting boats onto the shore and smashing others along the banks. Greenhouses collapsed, roofs were ripped away, and trees and power lines came down. I

In Kumluca, one of Turkey’s key greenhouse farming regions, many agricultural facilities were flattened.

Local officials said clean-up efforts are underway and confirmed that, despite the destruction, no lives were lost.
