Video released by the office of Itamar Ben-Gvir showed detained Gaza flotilla activists handcuffed on the ground at Ashdod port in Israel on Wednesday.

Images showed police officers dragging and restraining activists while Ben-Gvir walked among them carrying an Israeli flag and speaking to detainees.

One activist shouting “Free Palestine” was seen being pushed to the ground by security personnel.

Additional footage from Israel’s parliament later showed Ben-Gvir defending the treatment of the activists and criticizing calls for an apology over the incident.
