Humanoid robots battled in Shanghai on Saturday at the first stop of the Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend (URKL) national city tour.
The robots autonomously moved around the ring, analysed their opponents’ postures and selected responses in real time.
In one match, a T800 robot continued fighting despite suffering severe damage to its head and neck.
The event marks a significant step in demonstrating how humanoid robots can operate autonomously in dynamic, high-contact environments, a key challenge for embodied AI.
