Vilnius turned into a playground for corgis on Saturday as around 150 dogs from nine countries gathered for the fifth annual Corgi Race.
Thousands of spectators watched the dogs compete in seven categories at Vingis Park, including solo sprints, agility, a loudest voice contest, a run-and-return challenge and a costume parade.
The event brought together corgi owners and enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond, celebrating the bond between dogs and their owners.
The main race was won by “GG”, whose owners travelled from the United States. Owner Dustin Embrey said Vilnius was so welcoming to dogs that they would consider returning to the Lithuanian capital even without the race.
