Chinese tech and EV company XPeng showcased its second-generation humanoid robot, IRON, at its AI Day in Guangzhou.

The robot, equipped with bionic muscles, a human-like spine, and three in-house Turing AI chips, will enter mass production in 2026. XPeng also announced new AI-driven products, including a robo-taxi program and a hybrid flying car named A868.

Executives said advances in AI and computing power have accelerated development, while analysts noted fierce competition from rivals such as Huawei, NIO, and Tesla.
