U.S. President Donald Trump is back in the U.K. for a doubly unprecedented trip – the first state reception of a U.S. president at Windsor Castle, and the first time a U.S. president has been honored with two state visits.

His first was hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace in 2019. This time, renovations at the central London home of the monarch had pushed events westward to quaint Windsor, which Trump declared “the ultimate” on his way out of Washington on Tuesday. He and First Lady Melania Trump will be welcomed by King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, ahead of a banquet this evening.

Also on the agenda: Trade, Ukraine and technology. The president teased his willingness to help increasingly embattled U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer “get a little bit better deal.” We’ll be kicking off our live coverage at 10 a.m. UK time.
