Hoi An, with its UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, is on most travellers’ first-time itineraries to Vietnam.

And, if you’re planning a visit to the former trading port and need somewhere to stay, you might just want to take a look at NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Newly opened at the start of August, the property is found along the Co Co river in Cam Thanh village, which is best known for its basket boat rides.

The gorgeous resort was designed by Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia, with biophilic architecture that’s meant to create an open-air sanctuary that blends with its surroundings.

“Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a collection of independent boutique hotels, each woven with an original, vibrant story shaped by its locale,” Alexander Shockley, lifestyle and collection brands at Hilton in Asia Pacific, said.

“NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An is a compelling expression of what makes this brand resonate globally – uplifting design, food and beverage grounded in place, and experiences that invite local exploration and adventure. As we introduce the Tapestry Collection to Vietnam, this property brings the soul of Hoi An to life in a way that feels fresh, authentic, and distinctly its own.”

What to expect at NHAAN Resort & Spa

The 174-key property offers a number of room categories, including some with direct pool access.

As you may have guessed from the name, one of the highlights of the resort will be the spa, which is set to open later this month.

The eforea spa & health club is located on the hotel’s rooftop and offers views over the waterscape. The wellbeing offering also spans a 24-hour gym, and outdoor infinity pool and a yoga deck.

Plenty of tourists head to Vietnam purely for its food, and you can explore the region’s cuisine through the hotel’s four restaurants and bars.

At Plait Restaurant, guests can dine on locally caught seafood prepared over an open Korean grill, while Keng Restaurants serves Vietnamese specialties all day.

Bong Lounge, which has a design inspired by the 500-year craft legacy of nearby Kim Bong Carpentry Village, is the place to be for coconut cocktails.

For those who want to spend their days soaking up rays in the pool, you can grab poolside bites and drinks at Nipa Pool Bar.

On the flip side, guests are just a 10-minute drive from Hoi An Ancient Town, and you can also book in for pottery-throwing, woodcarving and lantern-making workshops through the hotel if you’re looking for cultural immersion.
