Welcome to the final day here in beautiful Qingdao where the heavyweights take centre stage in this stunning coastal city.

In the -90kg category, Astemir ABAZOV faced Vlad VISAN. ABAZOV had an incredible day and took home the gold medal from his very first World Judo Tour appearance. A remarkable debut to announce himself on the international stage.

Harvest Group CEO Mr Almaz ALSENOV awarded the medals.

In the -78kg category, Audrey TCHEUMEO faced Yelyzaveta LYTVYNENKO. The contest was taken into Golden Score where TCHEUMEO managed to score a yuko – propelling her to her eighth Grand Prix gold. A display of experience and determination from the French veteran, proving why she remains a force to be reckoned with.

IJF General Treasurer Mr Naser AL TAMIMI awarded the medals.

At -100kg, Niiaz BILALOV faced Zsombor VEG. With a yuko each on the board, a waza-ari near the end of the contest for BILALOV earned him the top spot on the podium. A well-earned victory on the final day in Qingdao.

IJF Head Sport Director Mr Vladimir BARTA awarded the medals.

In the +78kg category, Hyeonji LEE faced Lea FONTAINE. A fantasticly quick attack in the first 20 seconds of the contest saw LEE score a waza-ari and transition into a hold down for the ippon. Her first gold medal in a Grand Prix, won in style.

IJF Education & Coaching Director Mr Mohammed MERIDJA awarded the medals.

At +100kg, Gonchigsuren BATKHUYAG faced Marius FIZEL. BATKHUYAG managed a waza-ari throw and transitioned into a hold down to score waza-ari-awasete-ippon for his first Grand Prix gold. A strong finish.

IJF Head Referee Director Mr Armen BAGDASAROV awarded the medals.

Creating great moments and memories for their fans, the Chinese judoka lit up the Conson Stadium today with some amazing judo!
