Looking for your next Greek island escape? Turn your eyes towards Samos off the coast of western Türkiye, where a gorgeous new boutique hotel is set to open this month.
Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos – MGallery Collection promises a picture-perfect escape, with its name coming from the Samian word for “dream”.
Featuring just 72 rooms, the property is exclusively for those aged 13 and above. Of these, there are eight suites with private pools and terraces.
The hotel is around a 25-minute drive from Samos International Airport, which is around a 50-minute flight from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. There are direct flights to Samos from cities such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Milan and London Gatwick during the summer months.
Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Kuşadası in Türkiye which takes around an hour.

Set to welcome its first guests on 18 September, Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos overlooks Vathy Bay, and guests are just steps away from the sea.
The property boasts a spa and fitness centre, as well as an outdoor pool.
Samos has been known for its wine for more than 3,000 years, and guests can explore this at the Curvus wine cellar, where you’ll be able to try Muscat wines with tastings and pairings.
Elsewhere at the property, you can eat at the all-day dining spot Apagia as well as Apora Pool Restaurant.
Where to go on Samos
Beyond the hotel’s wine collection, you can learn about traditional winemaking at Samos Wine Museum and purchase bottles from vineyards on the island.
For culture vultures, Samos is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Pythagoreion and Heraion of Samos, which spans the remains of an ancient fortified port complete with a tunnel-aqueduct, as well as a temple of the Samian Hera.
