Céline Dion’s long-awaited return to the stage has taken the world by storm – and the travel industry is following suit.

Following last week’s news that flight searches to Paris have been surging ahead of the Canadian icon’s residency in the French capital, a top hotel is going all in on celebrating Céline.

At Le Méridien Paris Arc de Triomphe, Marriott Bonvoy has launched a themed room – called the ‘Paris, I’m Ready’ Suite – with fixtures transporting fans backstage to the concert.

The suite, which has stays starting from €659 per night, makes the pre-gig ritual part of the stay, and features a microphone wall, beauty station, illuminated mirrors and Céline-inspired concert artwork.

That’s not all. Marriott Bonvoy is giving fans who don’t opt to stay in the suite the chance to experience Paris Céline-style.

It’s launched The Paris Playlist, which will bring the concert experience into the hotel, with music-inspired gastronomy, fragrance, interactive listening experiences, photo moments and creative activities. It’s running from 12 September to 18 October.

There’s also the chance to experience Paris Encore: A Fan Singalong. That’s a free two-hour walking tour paying tribute to Céline’s relationship with Paris, where guests will visit iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the Seine River, and stop off for champagne, of course.

Marriott Bonvoy members can also use their Moments loyalty membership to claim exclusive Céline experiences, from premium concert packages and hotel stays and, for Céline’s 2027 shows, an Ultimate Céline Dion Experience, which features a backstage tour, hospitality tickets as well as a night in the Paris, I’m Ready Suite.

While Céline is driving plenty of traffic to Paris, the travel excitement around her residency is actually part of a bigger trend – gig tripping.

Put simply, that’s when people lean into the concert experience wholeheartedly. For many, gone are the days when a post-gig hotel would just be somewhere to lay your head.

Now, travellers are building holidays around concerts and live entertainment rather than simply attending a show, and hotels are increasingly becoming an integral part of the experience, offering themed rooms and gig-inspired experiences to guests.

Marriott Bonvoy has taken this trend and run with it, getting inspired by Céline’s very own travel tips.

Even if you can’t be in Paris, you can make like the superstar by starting your day with coffee (in a hotel room or at home), making sure to pack shoes for every occasion – and always travelling with music.
