The 98th Academy Awards are nearly here, which means we get to be nosy / jealous / indignant about this year’s celebrity swag bags.

Whether you win or lose at the Oscars, no one goes home empty-handed as a lavish goodie bag is given to the acting and directing nominees.

As if A-listers needed more stuff…

But Hollywood’s gonna Hollywood, and this year’s consolation gift bags are reportedly worth $350,000. Each.

Once again, and for the 24th year running, LA-based entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets is independently producing the “Everyone Wins” nominee swag bags, this year handed out to the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, Jacob Elordi, Teyana Taylor, Chloé Zhao, Paul Thomas Anderson, Ryan Coogler, and more.

So, what’s in this year’s indulgent party bag?

Well, so much that listing everything here would intensify Marxist thoughts and make us want to start storming the barricades while chanting The Internationale.

Some of the most regal offerings include:

  • Essence of Dreams Private Luxury Villa: Stay at a $9m private villa in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica with concierge, chef, and driver
  • Hideout Villas: Luxury Arctic villa stay in Finnish Lapland with Northern Lights viewing and private chef
  • Golden Door: Seven-day wellness retreat in Southern California
  • Santani: Ten-day wellness reset at Sri Lanka’s Michelin-recognized resort
  • Danucera: Sculpt & Lift facial experience and luxury skincare products
  • INSTYTUTUM: Three-piece Swiss luxury skincare set
  • DESUAR Spa: $400 credit toward facials and massage services
  • ArtLipo: Body-sculpting liposuction experience with Dr. Thomas Su
  • Beverly Hills Dental Arts: Smile makeover consultation and teeth whitening
  • Flaus Electric Flosser Starter Kit
  • Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich: $25,000 facial rejuvenation procedure in New York
  • Trusted Prenup: Custom prenuptial agreement created by celebrity divorce attorney James Sexton
  • Beboe: Luxury cannabis gift set with accessories from the “Hermès of marijuana”
  • RYTHM: High-potency cannabis products
  • Asia Luggage: Kabuki-inspired Japanese luggage
  • CBespoke: Custom residential interior design services (worth a reported $150,000)
  • GROHE: Luxury shower head (because who doesn’t need a shower upgrade with Aqua Booster technology?)
  • Ballet: Gold-plated cold storage cryptocurrency wallet
  • BENU: “Movie Star” limited-edition fountain pen
  • Tea Forte Tea Assortment Tea Chest
  • OOFOS OOahh Plus shoes (which apparently help reduce fatigue and ease knee and ankle pains)

OOahh, indeed.

The Oscars take place on Sunday 15 March (very early in the morning on Monday 16 March in Europe). Stay tuned to Euronews Culture for more Oscar news in the leadup to the ceremony, including our predictions for this year’s winners.
