KANANASKIS, Alberta — The French town of Evian-les-Bains will host the 2026 edition of the G7 summit from June 14-16.
French President Emmanuel Macron made the announcement Tuesday with a social media post on the last day of the ongoing G7 summit in the Canadian Rockies.
The French town, famous for the eponymous water brand, is located on the shores of Lake Geneva not far from the Swiss border and was the site of a G8 summit in 2003.
France last hosted the G7 in 2019 at the seaside tourist hotspot of Biarritz.
