It marked the sixth straight record quarterly net profit for TSMC, the world’s biggest contract maker of microchips, including those used in Nvidia AI data centre processors.

TSMC’s net profit for July to September surged year-on-year to 763.1 billion New Taiwan dollars (€23.6bn), beating analyst estimates of NT$739.5 billion (€22.9bn).

The result surpassed its previous quarterly record of NT$706.6 billion (€21.9bn) set in April-June 2026.
