Oasis fans really are madferit, aren’t they? Even though tickets are yet to go on sale for the band’s 2027 tour, there’s already been a huge surge in online travel searches to cities set to host concerts.
After a sold-out reunion tour in 2025, Oasis will be back on the road next year with gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston and Las Vegas, before shows at Ireland’s Slane Castle and a landmark return to Knebworth.
Some might say that the confirmation of next year’s Oasis concert dates is great news for the bank balances of Noel, Liam and the rest of the band. However, judging by the frenzy surrounding the upcoming ticket sales, the tour could prove lucrative for the travel industry too.
According to data released by global online travel agency eDreams, searches for travel to Glasgow have seen the most dramatic uplift – rising by 2,400%. The Scottish city is hosting the opening five nights of the tour, with searches increasing 25-fold compared with the same period last year.
Huge increases in online searches – flight, rail, and dynamic packages – have also been recorded for Manchester (+846%), Rome (+659%), Barcelona (+655%), Dublin (+614%), Amsterdam (+592%) and Paris (+279%), eDreams said. In the US, searches for Las Vegas and Boston have risen by 692% and 487% respectively.
The Oasis reunion contributed to a record year for UK music tourism in 2025 – and the early surge in travel searches suggests next year’s tour could boost the trend yet again.
“Fans are no longer just buying a ticket; they’re building entire trips around a single show, and that’s reshaping demand in cities far beyond the venue itself,” Pablo Caspers, Chief Travel Officer at eDreams, told Euronews Travel.
“When Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour moved through Europe, search interest in host cities like Edinburgh and Liverpool more than doubled almost overnight. We also see regular uplifts in searches for Eurovision host cities, and when festival lineups are announced for Coachella and Primavera Sound.
“With these new Oasis tour dates, we’re seeing the pattern play out again: Glasgow searches are up 25-fold on last year, with Manchester up 846%, Dublin up 614%, and the ripple reaching as far as Las Vegas, up 692%, and Boston, up 487%, alongside Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Paris.
“It shows that when an artist has enough cultural pull, they can move travel demand on a truly global scale.”
The 2027 Oasis tour kicks off at Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland, on 21 May and concludes on 19 September at Knebworth in England. Ticket sales will take place across three days next week – Friday 25 September, Saturday 26 September and Sunday 27 September – with registered fans who receive an access code allocated an on-sale window.
